Welcome to the hub page of Jesus the Baptist :: The Covenant Act of Pentecost, our Pneuma (Holy Spirit) Project! Here you will find links to articles, translation resources, and media related to our project.
The project is in part the fruit of a small-group Bible study on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit "A Study for Those Seeking the Face of God" that took place in the Spring of 2004. After the study, more Biblical research and seeking took place growing the body of knowledge that now undergirds the project. The project is first and foremost dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Chief Baptist in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is also dedicated to my wife and ministry partner Martha Morales. This hub page was launched in March 2004 and is dedicated to the memory of four missionaries slain in Iraq on Monday 15 March, 2004:

In January 2004, we launched "A Study for Those Seeking the Face of God" in our home while stationed in Monterey, California. Within a couple weeks, we moved the study to Monterey Assembly of God. In mid-March of that same year, after the study's end, we posted the articles on this page. Here they have remained until now. They are now located at our Pneuma Blog (discussed below) and are linked from this hub.
We hope this study lights a fire in the hearts of people everywhere. We hope that it also sheds new light on a subject so important yet unfortunately so controversial. We further believe that the views presented throughout the overall project do not take away from other established and traditional Pentecostal teachings about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. On the contrary, we believe they provide further insight to what Pentecostals all over the world already believe and experience.

On Sunday, May 07, 2006, we launched the pneuma blog of Jesus the Baptist. All studies pertaining to this study are located on the blog with links found on this hub page. We blogged our first full length article, The Covenant Act of Pentecost, on Pentecost Sunday, June 04, 2006, in the 100th anniversary year of the Azusa Street Revival. The article was written in August 2004, but had not been made public, until blogged.

On Sunday, March 19th, 2006, we launched Mountain Movers :: Missions Without Borders. Mountain Movers MWB is our collaborative translation initiative for Pentecostal Ministry. The initiative relies on Wiki-based technology to translate ministry materials, the first of which will be Jesus The Baptist :: The Covenant of Pentecost. Like Jesus the Baptist, the initiative is dedicated first and foremost to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is also dedicated to my mother and missions inspiration, Rev. Maria Morales. It is our hope that the initiative revolutionizes the way the Gospel and Christian teaching is translated by using the Internet to move mountains.
